The youngest member in the group has been making music since his early childhood days. And his musical background is quite impressive: children´s chorus, vocal studies, opera, Old Music, New Music...Basically everything that makes a singer´s heart leap is included in his repertory.

And he is not only the countertenor and the highest voice in the group, he is also full of musical surprises. In fact, Ben can´t do without music: even when not on stage he is singing and bouncing through life like the concert is never over. Why shouldn´t he? All the world´s a stage...

The ensemble began more than 10 years ago at the Conservatory of Music in Hanover where founding member Tobek studied. Now, he can look back at a history full of extraordinary tours, hundreds of concerts and stunning musical success.

He artfully transforms the sounds of the various instruments he plays into vocal expressions and works them in into his arrangements. And being the first tenor of the group he has a lot of responsibility for the lead vocals and lyrics. But a whole heap of words won´t cause him no trouble. Full of boundless energy and ambition he just keeps cool.

Also for him music was a part of his life since he was a child. This might be a reason why he has a wide range of musical knowledge and intuition. No matter if Mendelssohn or rap-music: he gets something out of everything. This also manifests in his work with vocaldente inasmuch as he is rapping, beatboxing and even singing in indian language at times.

He is more of the silent guy in the group which does not mean that he keeps quiet always. Quite the contrary, if he has a say it´s always meaningful, makes sense and hits the musical mark.

Lars ist the newest member of vocaldente. He has always had music following him through his  life singing in various choruses, playing in bands or because of his passion for music theatre. Thus, he is an expert in terms of everything about stage, theatre and performance and he has participated in countless projects on-stage, off- stage and backstage.

Now, Tobi, Lars and the timbre of his baritone bring the accompany patterns to a perfection that will make your ears go wild. And yet, he is quite down to the earth and super relaxed. Just a guy from northern Germany.

Being the bass and lowest voice in the group naturally means that you are the basis, the foundation of sound. Fittingly, Tobi has been a member of vocaldente almost since the foundation of the ensemble and it´s a safe bet to have a grounded tone from a singer with so much experience in a-capella music.

He is not a man of many words, takes a firm stand on his opinions and is firm as a rock on stage. But what´s tough on the outside is soft on the inside which unmistakably manifests in his warm, low voice.
