Stories from the average tour and the tourbulence of average life

Right on time arriving in Germany after the 4-week US tour, our new Programm „home stories“ is completed! The A-cappella-Globetrotter narrate the everyday discoveries on tour and about what „home“ means on the road with original and cover songs from over 100 years of music history. The „home stories“ are no fairy-tales, but stories from the average tour – and the tourbulence of average life.

The extraordinary aspect: vocaldente are real! A cappella art! No technical assistance, no bass amplifiers or distortion. Nothing stands between the audience and the vocal power of the five singers of vocaldente. Here, this self-created group of individuals sings, dances, and performs.  Here a loyal team of singers and entertainers create magic with perfectly blended voices in a pure form of a cappella unplugged. Authentic, incomparable. Voices that touch the heart!

And again the musical range stretches from the early stages of pop-music in the 1920's, for example with the Comedian Harmonists, through the timeless traditionals like „I am a man of constant sorrow“ or classics like Ray Charles „Shake your tailfeather“ and „Easy“ by Lionel Richie, on up to unique arrangements of radio hits like „Rock DJ“ by Robbie Williams. And: Some stories can only be captured with spoken word, with original melodies in self-composed songs, with deep thoughts about the meaning of life, and even with „underground“ rap!

And all the fans of artistic body expressional movement are promised one thing: vocaldente will continue on the stony path to the title of „best dance ensemble in the world“, swinging their hips with every step.  All of this packed into arrangements with the trademark twinkle in our eyes, and the typical vocaldente bite – in moderation, song, and choreograpy.
